We are currently seeking an experienced professional
to join this team in the role of Senior Vice President
Transformation Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
- The role of Project Manager is responsible for managing change through
projects which are established to deliver a specific outcome, on time and
on budget. Projects may be stand alone or part of a Programme.
- Project Managers are required to take decisions and
lead change initiatives and on occasions manage stakeholder and senior
management relationships. Project governance must be established,
including clear sponsorship, tollgates and steering committee.
- The role requires building and maintaining strong
relationships with the business leaders, making technology a business
enabler.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should meet the
following requirements:
- Excellent project management skills including prioritization,
scheduling, and documentation. Previous experiences in leading and
managing a very complex project/program is preferred.
- Ability to build strong relationships and
communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong grasp of current communication, project
tracking, budget management technologies.
- Excellent meeting, workshop, and conference
facilitation skills, with proven knowledge of how to foster attendee
participation and collaboration in small and large groups.
- Knowledge and experience of with different
project management frameworks: waterfall and agile.
- Solid technical understanding and ability to
define and refine requirements through a project lifecycle.
- Employs strong analytical & problem-solving
skills to manage shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
- Ability to quickly learn, understand and apply
new technologies.
- Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to
succeed in a fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills,
adapting your style and approach to the audience.
- Able to work with stakeholders across the bank
and establish a community of practice
- Able to work under pressure, find logical
solutions to problems and produce work unsupervised.
- Strong commercial orientation, appreciating the
business usage of systems developed.
- Strong risk management capability –
identification, mitigation and control.
- Strong leadership and management ability,
motivating project team members.
- Communication and interpersonal skills, including
the capacity to articulate the case for investments and alternatives in
the language of business.
